We Create Change

The Human Rights Club is inviting all Lord Nelson School families to participate in our upcoming campaign!

Our club’s intent is to focus on Social Justice issues, and coming up with ways to get involved to make

a difference in our community, country, and world! We believe that all children should have access to education!

Our very first campaign, working with Free the Children, is called We Create Change! We are collecting

coins (nickels, dimes, quarters, loonies, toonies) throughout the month of November. The money raised

will go toward building a school in Kenya! Every $20 we collect from change will cover the cost of a brick

toward this new school. Every cent counts! More information will be sent home soon.

The students in the Human Rights Club will also be collecting new and gently used hats, mitts, scarves, and

socks in any size. These items will be available for students use and any extras will be donated to Winnipeg

Harvest.
