Playground Communication Board

Thank you for exploring our Playground Communication Board! The symbols and phrases on our board allow for accessible communication for all our students and families in the community. These boards are high quality, permanent, back to back structures that let students, who might not be able to take their communication devices outside due to weather extremes or sun glare, to communicate their wants/needs and playtime conversations. These boards can also support literacy, numeracy and increase awareness of Augmentative Alternative Communication and Neurodiverse populations. We encourage you to explore the board and model language by pointing to the symbols/phrases!
