“All my Relations” is a way of acknowledging our interconnectedness as people, plants, animals, everyone and everything. At Winnipeg School Division we strive for all children to feel a sense of belonging, have meaning in their schooling experience, find purpose in their daily lives through education, and to have hope for a healthy and prosperous future; Mino Bimaadiziwin (The Good Life).

What we do:
- Listen and Learn from and with Indigenous Peoples
- Empower Indigenous Voice and Knowledge
- Acknowledge the ancestral lands and commit to teaching the true history
- Share knowledge through education of staff, students, and community
- Commit to Treaty Education for All
- Promote Indigenous Language & Culture
- Wholistic learning & wellbeing
Why Indigenous Education?

- Build Empathy and Understanding amongst Indigenous and non-Indigenous community

How to join in acts of Reconciliation: (What you can do)
- Listen and learn about, and from Indigenous Peoples
- Attend Indigenous events, gatherings, and celebrations
- Acknowledge the ancestral lands we are occupying and learn the stories that brought us together
- Be curious and open, ask questions, read books, watch films, have discussions – educate!
- Learn how to say words in Indigenous languages
- Support Indigenous people, businesses, and initiatives
- Understand the 94 Calls to Action
