Principal's Message

Welcome to Champlain School's website. Champlain School is a dynamic learning environment where students are provided with many opportunities to develop and thrive in order to maximize their learning potential. Our dedicated staff, along with students and community members, work together to create a safe and caring school where students are respectful, responsible and ready to learn. Within a diverse and inclusive environment, students are challenged to grow academically, socially and emotionally.

Many enrichment opportunities are offered for students and parents at Champlain School. Teachers offer many activities and clubs at lunch and after school. The Leadership Club encourages students to develop leadership through supporting and planning special events hosted in the school, reading the school morning announcements and helping lead intramurals at lunch time.

Our Community Support Worker offers regular parent activities and welcomes parents by appointment in the morning in Room 117. Parent Council meetings are held monthly and all parents and guardians are invited to attend.

We are very proud of our Indigenous Programming that is integrated throughout our curriculum. Every year we offer a Cultural Celebration that has grown to be a favourite community event.
