Clinical Support Services: Social Work

The Adolescent Parent Centre receives support from the Clinical Support Services Social Work Department. The Social Worker is on-site and is available to provide services to all students at the Centre including but not limited to:

• Consultation – individual/family/school
• Counselling – individual/group
• Family/parent intervention
• Crisis intervention
• Support – education to family/school/community
• Inter-agency liaison - referral to:
  • counselling,
  • Manitoba housing,
  • Employment and Income assistance,
  • family therapy
• Advocacy  - student safety, family support services
