Collège Churchill High School Judo club train with Christina Deguchi

This past weekend the Collège Churchill High School Judo Club was able to train with Canadas first Olympic gold medalist. Christina Deguchi is a Japanese-born Canadian. She is the reigning Olympic Champion in the women's event, after winning gold at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Her victory makes her the first ever Canadian to win gold in Judo at the Olympics. The event was held at The Sport for Life Centre November 10th and students in the Judo club were excited to learn and train with her.
