THE AWARDS
It is intended that the awards shall be given out annually for achievement in two types:
Alumni Book Awards and Alumni Excellence Awards. These shall be based on five broad criteria including student activism and accomplishment in:
Academic Achievement – awarded to a student whose academic record demonstrates excellence across core academic subjects.
Athletic Achievement – awarded to a student who demonstrates commitment and Panther pride in athletic endeavours at Gordon Bell.
Achievement in the Arts – awarded to a student who demonstrates dedication in areas of artistic and creative expression at Gordon Bell.
Achievement in Co-Curricular Activities – awarded to a student who demonstrates enthusiasm for learning both in and outside the classroom.
Citizenship – awarded to a student who demonstrates leadership, generosity and care for their community.
