Opened September 1, 1956 École J.B. Mitchell School is a diverse elementary dual track school, offering an English Program from kindergarten to grade 6 and a French Immersion Program from kindergarten to grade 6. The school is located on John Brebeuf Place and Lanark Street in the Winnipeg School Division. The school’s philosophy is first and foremost one unified school dedicated to academic excellence, inclusion of all cultural groups and differences as well as sustainable development.
