Cold Weather & Emergency School Closures
King Edward Community School is in the Winnipeg School Division. The Superintendent makes the decision when emergency closures are needed.
In the event that it is necessary to close school due to severe weather conditions, announcements will be broadcast over the following radio stations:

Chickenpox, Pink Eye, Rubella (German Measles) or other communicable diseases should be reported to the office and children should remain at home for the recommended amount of time.
