Who We Are
The Empowerment Group at Lord Nelson School is composed of Grade 4-6 students who get together weekly to discuss, investigate and act on how we can help ourselves and others access basic necessities and human rights in our school and local community.

Fundraisers
This year, the Empowerment Group is fundraising for Grade 6 Camp in June 2024.
They will be selling a bag of popcorn and/or candy for $2.00 only every Wednesday starting Wednesday, October 25th during the lunch hour.
Our Goal
Learn about the land acknowledgment and share our understandings with the whole school.
