Cold Weather Protocols

Please have your child dress appropriately for all weather, including boots, hats, mitts, scarves, etc. The decision to close the schools and administrative buildings is made by the Chief Superintendent in consultation with the Chair of the Board and other Superintendents in the Metro area. Please consult the following media outlets for information on school closures.

There are days when school bus transportation may be cancelled (below -45 with windchill): but schools and the administration buildings will remain open.
