MESSAGE FROM YOUR SCHOOL LEADERS

Happy April! With the arrival of spring, there is a renewed sense of energy and excitement throughout our school. With a hopeful change to some warmer weather, brings opportunities for outdoor learning, recess fun, and exploring the wonders of nature. It’s a joy to see our students embracing the upcoming spring season with curiosity and enthusiasm.

This month, we have many exciting activities planned. Our classrooms will be engaging in hands-on projects and activities that celebrate the beauty of spring. We also encourage you to take advantage of the longer days by spending time outdoors as a family, whether it’s a nature walk, a visit to the park, or simply enjoying the sunshine in your backyard.

Additionally, we want to remind families to keep an eye on our school calendar for upcoming events.  Your continued involvement and support play a vital role in your child's educational journey.

Our students have been hard at work all year preparing for our Spring Celebration of Learning!  April 24th from 4:30 - 6:30 we will be opening our doors for families to come check out what learning looks like at Norquay School!  Learning happens everywhere in our school, not just the classroom! Our school choirs will perform at 5:15 in the gym.  You don't want to miss this!  Light refreshments will be served.  

Nicole our Community Support Worker will be helping us organize a parent gathering group for late April/early May.  Our hope is to discuss our school plan for the 25/26 school year and ensure families have a voice in the planning process!  Thank you for being a part of our school community.  Together, let’s make this spring a season of growth, discovery, and joy.
