The Winnipeg Adult Education Centre is proud to have a partnership with Huddle Broadway - a walk-in mental wellness hub that offers a variety of services for free.
A Huddle Navigator is available in the student lounge at WAEC all day on Tuesdays where you can drop in for information, you can also stop by at Huddle Broadway to have coffee, hang out with friends, have a conversation with staff, or access an array of health and wellness supports.
Huddle Broadway is a judgement free safe space that welcomes everyone and is located at 533 Broadway. Some of the services offered include:
- One-on-one Counselling
- Substance Use Counselling
- Group Skill Building Programs (Example: Y-Mind, DBT)
- Peer Support
- EIA Support and Advocacy
- Housing Support
- Primary Care
- Identification
- Employment Supports
- Opportunities to Connect with Indigenous Cultures
- Programs and Supports for Caregivers/Caring Adults
