Celebration of Diversity
Clifton School sent two Grade 5 student ambassadors along with Mrs.MacTavish to the Kick off and Student Forum on Oct.13th. We had the opportunity to meet with schools from all over the Winnipeg School Division. We heard a message from Mayor Brian Bowman , played the Empathy Game and talked about ways we could celebrate diversity in our schools. In the main hallway of Clifton School you will see a bulletin board that was designed by the Grade 5 Students. This bulletin board features an outline of their hands with a collage of words and pictures that represent who they are.
We will be reporting back to the Summit on January 12th to share what Clifton School has done to promote leadership in our school.
