Students who need support completing classroom assignments or an alternate space to do tests are welcome to visit the Resource Department. Educational resource services are available to all registered DMCI students to receive extra support for their courses.
Programming at the Resource Center assists students who require additional time to complete course requirements, have experienced limited academic success, lack motivation, or identified as having a learning disability. A resource teacher or educational assistant can support students with completing assignments, improving reading skills, and developing study skills that will enable them effectively prepare for tests and exams.

Students may self-refer or be referred for these supports by a parent or guardian, a teacher, a guidance counsellor, or an administrator. Students may be scheduled to work in the resource room on a regular basis, during a specific period on their timetable, or they may drop in as needed.
Students looking to get a job can drop in to the resource room to prepare or update their resume and cover letter and do some job searching.
