In Math, we are practicing various skills like counting objects, making patterns, making tens up to 20 using different manipulatives, composing and decomposing numbers, identifying numbers before and after the given number, rote counting forward/backward from 1 to 100. Students learned about Math vocabulary words such as equal, not equal, greater than and less than.
In Science, we studied about body parts and the five senses. We had an active discussion on how to take care of our body by making healthy choices and their favorite things to do during fall season. We also studied about different objects that surrounds us and classify if it is made of metal, wood, plastic, rubber or glass.
For Social Studies, we identify the difference between a world map and a globe, the seven continents and locate Winnipeg, Manitoba in the map of Canada. Students were so thrilled with excitement when we celebrated our Trick or Treat Halloween Party inside our classroom.
