The students in room 15 are off to a great start this school year. The students have reconnected with classmates and welcomed new friends into our classroom community. Our classroom’s golden rule is “treat others the way you want to be treated.” We have been practicing being independent learners. We have been working on naming and identifying alphabet letters with focus on forming upper and lower-case letters along with learning letter sounds.  As well, the students have started reading sight words. In Writing, the students are expressing their ideas using drawings and adding words to them.
