Hello families!
Grade 6 students in Room 27 are embracing the new school year with a positive attitude creating a welcoming, safe, and fun classroom environment. This week, we launched new units in English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies, with students enjoying group work that fosters collaboration. New students are settling in and becoming part of the community. We have also established our Class Treaty to guide our actions and promote accountability, and we’re using the Medicine Wheel to discuss strategies for caring for our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Grade 6 Cultural Exploration Activities
The Grade 6 students demonstrated remarkable collaboration during their cultural exploration activities. They worked together effectively while preparing and following directions to make "lumpia," a beloved Filipino side dish. Their impressive teamwork not only made the cooking process enjoyable but also highlighted their ability to support each other in achieving their goals. Great job, Room 27 ♥️
