The Performing Arts

March 14, 2025

The Arts Appreciation Program promotes the enjoyment  and appreciation of music, dance, drama, and the visual arts, through a broad range of activities and mediums.

The Arts is a combination of Drama, Dance, Music and the Visual Arts.

DANCE begins after Spring Break. Please come to class prepared to MOVE! This means clean indoor running shoes, clothes you can bend and sweat in, a water bottle and a positive attitude!

Primary Performing Arts

After a great start to the year in the Arts room, students have started using xylophones to practice steady beat and explore concepts of high and low and loud and quiet. Students will also be experimenting with how to use parts of the playground to create music inspired by Robert Munsch’s story Mortimer.
