School Counselling Services
School counsellors are available to all students to support their well-being, personal growth, and academic achievement. They work with students, families, and staff and are an important part of each school’s student support team. Winnipeg School Division has approximately 80 school counsellors serving Middle and High Schools.
School counsellors provide:
- Individual and group counselling to support students’ mental health and well-being
- Guidance with personal, social, academic, and career development
- Support for students and families in connecting with community services and resources when additional help is needed
Students and families can connect with a school counsellor by contacting their school.
