Students needing official high school transcripts for post-secondary admissions should contact the office of the last school attended to request a free copy.

When school offices are closed for scheduled breaks, contact the Superintendent’s Department at Winnipeg School Division (204-775-0231) to request a free copy.

Students can also request a high school transcript from Manitoba Education and Childhood Learning for a small processing fee.

Archived Student Records

Students who last attended WSD schools before June 1993, must contact WSD Student Records, located at Library Support Services, to access an archived student record.

To release an archived student record, please fill out the WSD Student Records Release Form and submit it to Library Support Services.

Archived student records can only be released to the student or with signed authorization from the student. Records cannot be released until the form is received.

Classroom Registers

Contact the Archives of Manitoba to view classroom registers up to and including the 1967/68 school year.

General Equivalency Diploma (GED)

The Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) has replaced the GED in Manitoba. For more information, visit the Advanced Education and Training Department Canadian Adult Education Credential page.

If you completed the GED in Manitoba, you can request a copy of a transcript for a small processing. Manitobans who have passed certain GED tests can request to have the tests recognized toward CAEC. Use the Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition form to request recognition of successful GED tests.

Medical and Health Records

Access a student’s Personal Health Information by completing the PHI Access Request Form and submitting the form to Manitoba Health. For more information, visit Manitoba Health.

Immunization Records

Access student immunization records by completing the Manitoba Health Immunization Update Request Form or contact your regional health authority, medical clinic, physician’s office, or pharmacy.
